With a single fabric-covered steel loop protruding a short distance from the panel's surface, Lasserre's Now Nocturne is a subdued member of her Pitchables series. Employing an almost modernist color palette of gray, blue, ochre and white, Now Nocturne's layered surface rewards close looking, revealing extensive variation in surface and sheen.

Body / Body / Body offers an intimate counterpoint to an age of control: works that reclaim the body as a site of autonomy, performance, pleasure, and lived experience.
With an unconventional use of materials, artists Jamie Isenstein, Fabienne Lasserre, and Sophy Naess reflect upon bodies through the lenses of feminism, humor, and imagination.

Fabienne Lasserre reflects on her decades-long exploration of the boundaries between painting and sculpture, body and space, color and form. Rooted in feminist ethics, her work invites viewers to question binaries and engage with abstraction as a language of inclusion, embodiment, and emotional depth.
