Reminiscent of fishnet and flesh, Next Next Next continues Lasserre's explorations of abstraction and the human form. This smaller-scale work combines the language of painting with sculptural relief using acrylic paint, layered linen, bent steel, athletic mesh, and panel. A fabric ground frames two black forms lifting outward. A thin band of electric blue traces the edge of a painted, black, receding circle.
