Eyes as Still as a Pond showcases Fabienne Lasserre's tactile materiality and off-kilter geometries. Inhabiting a place between painting and sculpture, a patchwork, flesh-toned fabric panel is painted with two elongated, teardrop forms—one deep brown, the other midnight blue. Each is anchored by a slender, marbled ceramic element hooked over the top and extending down the panel.

Body / Body / Body offers an intimate counterpoint to an age of control: works that reclaim the body as a site of autonomy, performance, pleasure, and lived experience.
With an unconventional use of materials, artists Jamie Isenstein, Fabienne Lasserre, and Sophy Naess reflect upon bodies through the lenses of feminism, humor, and imagination.

Fabienne Lasserre reflects on her decades-long exploration of the boundaries between painting and sculpture, body and space, color and form. Rooted in feminist ethics, her work invites viewers to question binaries and engage with abstraction as a language of inclusion, embodiment, and emotional depth.
